Refund Policy
Our goal is to make your Public Plain Registry experience smooth and fair. This policy explains when and how refunds or returns may apply for goods, digital content, and classes/events.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly from Public Plain Registry, including (where applicable):
- Physical goods (e.g., merchandise).
- Digital content (e.g., downloadable guides or videos).
- Services (e.g., class bookings, workshops, or events).
2. Physical goods (if offered)
- Return window: 30 days from delivery.
- Condition: Unused, in original packaging, with tags where applicable.
- Process: Contact hello@Public Plain Registry.example with your order details and reason for return. We will provide return instructions.
- Refunds: Issued to the original payment method once the item is received and inspected.
- Shipping: Original shipping is non-refundable unless the item was defective or we made an error. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless otherwise required by law.
- Defects/damage: If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos; we will arrange a replacement or refund.
3. Digital content (if offered)
- Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once access is granted or files are delivered, except where the content is defective or not as described.
- If you experience access issues or receive the wrong item, contact hello@Public Plain Registry.example within 14 days, and we will repair access, replace the file, or, where appropriate, refund your purchase.
4. Classes, workshops, and events (if offered)
- Customer cancellation:
- Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the start time.
- 50% refund if you cancel 24–48 hours before the start time.
- No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before the start or for no‑shows.
- Organizer cancellation or material change: If we cancel or materially change the event (time, venue, or key content), you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a new date.
- Transfers: Subject to availability, you may transfer your booking to another date once if requested at least 24 hours before the event.
5. How to request a refund or return
- Email hello@Public Plain Registry.example with:
- Order number, purchase date, and item(s).
- Reason for return/refund.
- For physical goods: condition and photos (if defective/damaged).
- We will reply with next steps within 3 business days.
- After receipt/verification (if applicable), we will process the refund to your original payment method.
6. Timeframes
- We aim to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
- If you have not received your refund after 10 business days from our confirmation, contact your bank or card issuer; then contact us.
7. Non-refundable items
- Gift cards or vouchers (unless required by law).
- Customized or personalized items unless defective.
- Digital content after download/access is provided, unless defective or not as described.
8. EU/UK consumer rights
If you are an EU/UK consumer, you may have statutory rights (e.g., a 14‑day right of withdrawal for certain distance purchases). These rights apply in addition to our policy where applicable. The right of withdrawal may not apply to digital content once download or streaming begins with your express consent, or to dated events within a short timeframe.
